Ernest and Rose Randolph Dear Friend of SetFree Indeed!, Each year SetFree Indeed! Empowerment Center, Inc. continues to advance the cause of empowering women to succeed that are incarcerated. Through Meet "ME" At The Gate Pre-Release Program, we have seen many lives changed for the better. Of the 34 women who attended our first two sessions of the 4-week program, 22 graduated, and 5 were released to go home. To date, an additional 30 women have signed up for the next session of Meet "ME" At The Gate Pre-Release Program. The Experience Has Been Life-Changing for Many Women
Fortunately, we were there in time to help Elaine Johnson and others. She will be released later this summer to her family and community in the Washington, DC area. Through our partnership with other agencies, we have provided Elaine Johnson with reliable resources to ensure her successful transition. SetFree Indeed! Empowerment Center continues the work to help make a difference in the lives of women like Elaine Johnson and Judy Beasley. Each and every woman effected by prison has reason to hope because great strides are being made to create opportunities for Re-Entry/Transitional programs that reduce the number of women returning to prison.Today, you can make an immediate difference in the lives of women returning home from prison to their children and families. Would you stand with us in support of this worthy cause. Taking the Time to Make a Difference...
